Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Jamchik mobile application and related website, provided by Egor Karpunin (“Jamchik,” “we,” “us”). By using Jamchik, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Educational purpose
Problems, explanations, feedback, and study guidance are provided for education and self-study. They do not replace a qualified teacher or the official rules of an exam. Jamchik does not guarantee grades, admission, certification, or exam outcomes.
3. Free version
Jamchik 1.0 is free and contains no advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Hearts, gems, cosmetics, achievements, and educational packs are gameplay features and are not sold for real money in this version.
4. Local data
Your progress is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for exporting a backup if you want a portable copy. Uninstalling the app or clearing storage may permanently erase local progress.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Jamchik for personal educational purposes. You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious modifications, or use Jamchik in violation of applicable law.
6. Nicknames and simulated features
Nicknames must not be hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, unlawful, or impersonate another person or brand. Any practice league shown in the app is simulated locally and is not a public multiplayer leaderboard.
7. Intellectual property
The Jamchik name, character, interface, code, audio, artwork, and original educational content are protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its assets. You may share screenshots of your own progress.
8. Availability and updates
We may correct content, change features, release updates, or discontinue parts of the app. We aim for accuracy and reliability but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Jamchik is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of local progress. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The revised page will show a new “Last updated” date, and material changes will be communicated when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
